I originally saw this by another woodworker on Reddit. I asked him about some of the unknowns, such as the electrical and light bulb, which he readily shared. While I modeled the design after his, I did my own measurements to ensure proper proportion and a whole number design. The height to width ratio is 2:1 and the width to corner-block ratio is 3:1. The fill that i used in the voids is copper. The second photo shows the construct, in which tenons were used to provide integrity to the structure, so that the blocks are merely a design feature and not integral to the lamp holding together.
